Regularly replacing the air and fuel filters and the spark plug, as recommended, will protect the chainsaw's components and parts from damage and dirt. Consequently, the chainsaw motor will continue to perform reliably and efficiently.
The Service Kit 13 includes the following components:
The STIHL fleece filter effectively filters out dirt particles from the intake air, ensuring the motor remains protected from abrasive dust. This results in the chainsaw maintaining its performance and lower fuel consumption.
The spark plug, essential for clean combustion in the engine, should be replaced regularly to maintain performance. Similarly, the fuel filter, which ensures fuel remains free of foreign particles before entering the engine, should also be replaced regularly for reliable operation and improved longevity.
To replace the air filter and spark plug, the practical combination wrench that came with your STIHL chainsaw should be used. The Service Kit packaging also includes a cardboard hook, enabling you to easily remove and replace the fuel filter without requiring any additional tools.
Please note that this kit is not suitable for STIHL MS 271 and MS 291 chainsaws of the VW design variants.
