Description
The STIHL ADVANCE X-CLIMB Helmet Set is specifically designed for tree surgeons, providing head protection for both ground and tree work. It is the first multi-norm helmet from STIHL, conforming to both EN 397 (helmets for industrial use) and EN 12492 (helmets for climbing and mountaineering), making it suitable for various tasks performed by tree surgeons.
This helmet set offers a modern design with a good balance between protection and comfort. It can be universally applied on the ground for wood harvesting and tree care work.
Comfort is prioritised with very good ventilation, allowing for optimal airflow during work. The 4-point chinstrap features a magnetic closure for easy and convenient use. The headband is adjustable via a comfortable ratchet mechanism, ensuring a secure and customised fit.
Reflective stickers provide high visibility, enhancing safety during work, especially in low light conditions.
The helmet shell is made of UV-stabilised ABS, ensuring durability and long service life. The visor is made of nylon, offering longevity and protection. The included ear defenders have a high level of insulation, with a Single Number Rating (SNR) of 28, effectively protecting against noise.
The helmet set complies with the safety standards of EN 397 and EN 12492, meeting the required safety regulations for industrial and climbing/mountaineering helmets.
The helmet ventilation system, as indicated in the provided thermographic image, allows for efficient heat dissipation, reducing temperature by two to three degrees and increasing humidity by 50%, resulting in improved comfort during work.
Furthermore, the helmet set features a magnetic chin strap, offering convenience and ease of use.
It's worth noting that the helmet set incorporates a flexible nylon mesh face mask, which is durable and reduces the risk of breakage. For added safety, it is highly recommended to use safety glasses in conjunction with the helmet.
