Description
Introducing the SLT5000, a portable lighting tower designed for versatile and efficient lighting solutions. With 4 x 200 watt LED lighting heads mounted on a 5.4m hand-operated mast, this tower can be quickly and easily erected by a single operator. The lights are operational while using either 115V or 230V AC generator outputs, making it highly adaptable to various environments. The tower is powered by a Yanmar L70 electric start air-cooled diesel engine, coupled to a Meccalte alternator, which provides an output of 4.5kVA/3.6kW.
The SLT5000 is equipped with a range of features to ensure efficient and safe operation. The DSE 3110 control module includes a double pole MCB overload protection, AC voltage selector switch, and overload protection for each individual socket. Additionally, the tower features adjustable stabilizer legs, a braked industrial four-wheeled trolley kit, and an acoustic weatherproof canopy for use in various weather conditions. The module also displays warnings, shutdowns, and engine status information on the back-lit LCD screen, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
The SLT5000 comes with a range of safety features, including low oil pressure, high engine temperature, and low fuel level shutdowns, as well as an anti-collapse safety device that becomes active upon raising, fully erecting, and lowering the mast. This device automatically locks the mast in the event of the main rope breaking, preventing the tower from collapsing. Other features include a fuel gauge, fuel pump prime button, lockable control panel cover, and a bunded fuel tank.
