The low-profile ¼ P chain reduces chain chatter for a smoother and more precise finish, resulting in superior cuts and reduced fatigue for the operator.

The MSA 161 T comes with a trigger side-lock button for added safety, a large throttle interlock lever, and a carrying ring for attaching the saw for aerial use. This cordless saw is quiet in operation, meaning ear defenders are not needed during use, making it comfortable and convenient for a variety of tasks.

Equipped with STIHL’s state-of-the-art technologies, this chainsaw ensures an easy and safe operation. The side chain tensioner enables simple and safe chain tensioning without contact with the sharp saw chain. The QuickStop Super Chain Brake provides an additional braking system for extra safety, stopping the chain in seconds whenever the user lets go of the rear handle or if there is sufficiently strong kickback.
