The STIHL MS 661 C-M Petrol Chainsaw is an extremely powerful, high-performance chainsaw designed for professional use within forestry and big timber harvesting. With a robust 5.4 kW output, this chainsaw leverages advanced 2-MIX technology and STIHL M-Tronic (M) for exceptional performance and durability. The electronic engine management system auto-regulates the ignition timing and fuel supply, taking into account external temperature to provide optimal engine performance, impressive acceleration, and sustained maximum torque.

To ensure the chainsaw performs at its best at all times, STIHL M-Tronic (M) technology has been implemented. This fully electronic engine management system adjusts the ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes and external conditions such as temperature, altitude, and fuel quality. There is only one start position on the combi-lever because M-Tronic recognises cold and warm starts electronically. This allows for immediate acceleration up to speed, even after a cold start.

The MS 661 C-M stands out for its durability and low vibration levels, thanks to its compensator and anti-vibration system. The compensator in the carburettor maintains the fuel/air ratio constant in the combustion mixture, hence maintaining engine power even as the air filter becomes clogged. Additionally, the anti-vibration system minimises vibrations at the handles, reducing long-term effects on blood vessels in the user’s hands and arms. The chainsaw comes with a rollomatic E guide bar, not rollomatic ES light as pictured, and two versions are available: MS 661 C-M – 71 cm / 28″ and MS 661 C-M – 90 cm / 36″.
