Powered by an economical STIHL 2-MIX engine, the MS 462 C-M showcases the 1-in-4 channel technology that delivers a high torque over a wide speed range. This chainsaw provides fuel savings of up to 20% compared to STIHL two-stroke engines in the same performance class without 2-MIX technology. Exhaust emissions are reduced by up to 50%.
With M-Tronic technology, this chainsaw optimizes engine performance by automatically adjusting ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating modes. It takes into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude, and fuel quality, ensuring consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed, and superb acceleration.
The MS 462 C-M also has a STIHL anti-vibration system that reduces oscillations from the machine’s engine, resulting in less stress on the user’s hands and arms during extended periods of use.
