Description
The STIHL HSA 40 Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a lightweight and highly efficient tool, perfect for residential garden maintenance. This hedge trimmer is designed for smaller hedge maintenance tasks, such as trimming box hedges and managing annual growth. It is available as an individual tool without a battery and charger, or as a kit with the HSA 40 Cordless Hedge Trimmer, two AS 2 batteries, and an AL 1 charger. This versatility allows users to either integrate the trimmer into their existing STIHL battery system or opt for a complete set for immediate use.
Part of the AS System, the HSA 40 is powered by a removable lithium-ion battery, which is also compatible with other tools in the range, like the GTA 26 garden pruner and SEA 20 hand vacuum. This interchangeability makes it a valuable addition to any gardening toolkit. The HSA 40 is known for its excellent balance, making it comfortable and effortless to use. The battery’s charge status can be conveniently checked during use by pressing the indicator button on the side of the hedge trimmer.
The HSA 40 features a 50 cm double-sided, single-edged cutting blade, providing a cutting capacity of 8mm. The trimmer is equipped with a tip protector and laser-cut, diamond-ground, hardened blades, ensuring precision and durability. On a full charge, the HSA 40 can operate for up to 40 minutes, allowing sufficient time to complete most residential trimming jobs.
