The STIHL HLA 140 K-B Cordless Short-Shaft Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer is a powerful professional hedge trimmer designed for demanding landscaping, grounds maintenance and municipal work. As part of the STIHL AP System, it combines exceptional cutting performance with quiet, low-vibration cordless operation, making it ideal for working in noise-sensitive environments.

Featuring a compact 214cm overall length, this short-shaft version offers outstanding control when trimming tall, wide or awkward hedges. The 60cm double-sided, laser-cut and diamond-ground blades provide fast, clean cuts, while the friction-optimised blade design extends battery runtime. A 145° adjustable cutter head allows comfortable cutting from almost any angle, and three selectable speed settings provide the perfect balance of power and runtime for every task. The intelligent anti-lock system automatically reverses the blade direction if it becomes jammed, helping maintain productivity.
