The STIHL FS 131 Petrol Brushcutter is a powerful tool designed for landscape maintenance, suitable for tougher jobs and larger areas of tall grass. This brushcutter is equipped with a 4-MIX® engine with larger tank for increased cutting time between filling, rigid drive shaft, and a simplified starting system. The bike handle, control handle with stop button, and supplied ADVANCE Universal double shoulder harness make it easy to use and comfortable to operate even during extended periods of time.

The STIHL FS 131 Petrol Brushcutter features a decompression system, making it easier to start as the decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, requiring less force on the starter rope. Its 4-MIX® engine technology provides fast acceleration, more power, added torque, lower noise, reduced emissions, and increased fuel efficiency to complete jobs quickly, quietly, and more easily.

This brushcutter also comes with an air filter with a long service life, a manual fuel pump (Purger), anti-vibration system, multi-function handle with all the engine and speed controls easily accessible, tool-free handle adjustment clamp, and a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.
