The STIHL AL 1802 MO is engineered to minimise downtime on professional jobs. With two charging bays, it intelligently switches between single-slot high-speed charging and dual-slot simultaneous charging depending on when batteries are inserted.
If batteries are inserted more than five seconds apart, one battery receives the full 42A charging current while both batteries are actively cooled for maximum charging performance. When inserted within five seconds of each other, both batteries charge simultaneously at 21A, allowing two batteries to be replenished together.

Charging Notes
- Single Slot Mode (Max. 42A): If the second battery is inserted more than 5 seconds after the first, one battery is prioritised and charged at up to 42A, while both batteries are actively cooled for optimum charging performance.
- Dual Slot Mode (Max. 21A): If both batteries are inserted within 5 seconds of each other, they charge simultaneously at up to 21A each.
* Time taken to reach 80% charge at an ambient and battery temperature of 25–40°C when used with the STIHL AL 1802 MO High-Speed Charger. Applies to ALLPRO AP 100 P, AP 200 P and AP 300 P / PC batteries.
** In dual-slot mode, the AP 500.0 S has a slightly longer charging time due to the available charging current being shared between both battery slots.
