The SoRoTo® SmartCutter is an advanced motorised brick cutting system designed to automate brick cutting for faster, safer and more ergonomic working. Developed through a PhD research project focused on reducing physical strain in the construction industry, the SmartCutter helps minimise repetitive stress on the arms, shoulders and back while improving cutting accuracy and productivity.
Powered by a rechargeable 24V Li-Ion battery, the SmartCutter can perform up to 500 cuts per charge and features a patented cutting system that automatically returns the blade to the previous cutting position for faster repeat cuts. Lightweight at just 24 kg, it is easy to transport around site and can be configured with three different stand options to suit various working environments and transport methods.
