Description
Introducing the GPR65 and 68 series compact reversible plates, ideal for narrow trenches and confined areas. These plates feature a heavy-duty mechanical shifting mechanism that allows for directional changes at full speed, making shifting travel direction at a constant speed a breeze. In fact, endurance testing was terminated at 400,000 shifts without system failure – the best result MBW (and likely any manufacturer) has ever achieved on a reversible plate shifting design.
These high production plates achieve travel speeds of up to 95ft/min with good compaction conditions and move with ease over irregular lift surfaces. The GPR65 and 68 models have eight years of exceptional maintenance history behind them, making them a reliable and cost-effective option.
In addition to these models, MBW introduces the GPR77 – a 400 pound reversible plate producing 7775 pounds of CF at 4725 vpm. The GPR77 features a simple yet reliable shifting design, which lowers acquisition cost and provides a geotechnical benefit in its ability to shift travel direction at a constant speed. It produces an amplitude of .064 inches, travel up to 8.5ft/min, and can handle all types of essentially granular soils.
Features:
- Heavy-duty mechanical shifting mechanism that allows for directional changes at full speed.
- Lightweight and compact design for easy maneuverability in narrow trenches and confined areas.
- Ability to achieve uniform density and stiffness over the area being compacted.
- Low maintenance design, which lowers acquisition cost and provides a geotechnical benefit.
- Petrol and diesel engine options available to meet various needs and preferences.
