The blade of this shovel is made from solid forged steel and has been tapered to provide better functionality when digging and moving material.
Rather than welding and joining component parts, this is made from a single piece of hardened and tempered carbon steel which has been pressed to produce a stronger, more durable blade.
Thicker forging at the base of the socket accommodates greater levering forces and the tubular steel handle makes it lightweight yet durable.
