Description
The Bartell BCF1080 Plate Compactor, powered by a Honda GX160 engine, is a compact yet potent tool ideal for light compaction applications. Its compact size ensures its portability and ease of manoeuvrability around the job site. Despite being the smallest compactor offered by Bartell, it provides more than 2000 lbs of compaction force.
This model boasts several unique features aimed at enhancing functionality, efficiency, and user convenience. The robust throttle control is conveniently mounted on the handle, providing safe and convenient operator control. The anti-vibration handle reduces operator fatigue, while the retractable wheel kit simplifies the machine’s mobility around the site. When not in use, the wheels lock up securely.
A key feature of this model is its straight-edge plate design, which allows it to compact close to edges leaving no unreachable margins. Additionally, the plate compactor includes a sealed belt guard to keep debris from interfering with the belt, thereby increasing its lifespan and reducing maintenance.
The BCF1080 Plate Compactor also includes a lifting bale to facilitate easier equipment moving in scenarios where a wheel kit is not suitable. The folding handle feature contributes to compact storage. An optional urethane mat can be used to protect pavers and slabs from scratches and breakage.
