DTW Dan’s tips for Diamond Hole Saws

DTW Hole saws are made for high-speed drilling in conjunction with a professional drill motor or drill rig.

Start to drill at a 45-degree angle. Then begin to level up as you feel the bit take hold. Once you get to this point the rest is relatively straightforward. For a faster, cleaner precision cut,  rotate and oscillate whilst drilling.

It is vital you do not apply pressure on the drill motor. Allow the diamond compound and speed of rotation to do the work progressively. Too much applied pressure will shorten the lifespan of the hole saw diamond bits.

Also, if you either dip the hole saw in some water it shall aid in cooling the saw cutter and prevent damage from overheating. Helping to keep the cutter head cool can substantially increase the life of your DTW hole saw.
